In the middle of the village there is a slightly elevated area surrounded by a stone wall. In the old days, there was an old linden next to the nettle tree.

Today, only the nettle tree remains standing. During local religious missions in 1867, a large stone cross was erected there and still stands. In the old days, just as today, old men used to sit on the stone wall in the shade of the old linden and nettle tree. Only their clothes were different, with traditional jackets made of rough domestic cloth slung over their shoulders. They wore white skintight cloth trousers and a small folk cap on their heads, and smoked clay pipes.
